Studio II Project

Well it's been a while since I have made a post and that is due to my Studio II Class. I am leading a group of 5 including myself on a project that we are calling Project Dungeon. It's going to be vertical slice of a game that most likely won't ever be made. Story is simple, were playing on the don't touch the big red button in front of you that says don't touch, but you really really realllllly wanna touch it to see what happens. The story in a few sentences would go like this. You play as a young mage who read an ancient book in the local catacombs releasing the souls of the dead who unfortunately reanimate the closest thing, dead bodies. You want to cover yourself so you don't get in trouble from everyone so you have to explore the catacombs in search of all the souls you released and capture them; then return them to the altar which they were released from and seal it shut.

Been hard at work with more design work and pre-production than anything else. Doing a lot of level design, game mechanics, and game design. At week 5 in the class we had to present our alpha, which turned out quite well. You can view our alpha here:

Now its time to get onto making some assets. We have a very good vision on where we intend to take this and being the lead  on the team, I hope I can pull us together and have a good finishing game at the end of the class.

Below is some assets I've been working on over the past week or so.
