School's Out, Finals are done

Been very busy recently hence the lack of updates on the blog. Now I am done for the summer and ready to put all my effort to PlayGroundState which I'm excited to get heavily involved with.

This project below is my final for my Level Design Mechanics class. The project needs to be a complete refined playable experience, the only real requirements were for it to be fun and have at least 3 event systems which is quite easy to achieve. I decided to go with something different than the rest of the class. Since we mainly needed to use the assets that ship with UDK I decided to make a few of my own to make myne a little unique. I wanted to mix sci-fi and some sort of cave environment; below is the walk through of my level that I designed and came up with. It was completed in 2 weeks and was a lot of fun to work on. I tried to stick to the keep it simple moto while working on it. Nothing to hard, nothing to extreme but enjoyable.
